BUNKER

Bunker is a Buenos Aires-based fashion resale store built around giving clothes a second life, with a constantly changing mix of secondhand clothing, accessories, and recognizable brands. When they came to me for a redesign, they wanted the online store to feel more like the brand itself — playful, youthful, colorful, and a little less predictable.

We went through quite a few visual directions before landing on the final palette. The idea was to use bright colors that brought energy to the site without competing with the clothes themselves, since the product photography is always changing.

From there, I kept the structure pretty clean. Bunker already has a lot going on visually, so the site didn’t need to add even more noise. The goal was to give the brand room to be expressive while keeping the shopping experience simple.

Design Goals

The biggest challenge was volume. Bunker adds new pieces all the time, which means the store can get crowded quickly if everything is given the same level of importance.

I focused on creating a clear hierarchy, organizing content into distinct layers, and making a large inventory easy to move through without feeling overwhelming. The brand could be loud; the shopping experience didn’t need to be.

The Build

Bunker was built on Tiendanube, an e-commerce platform widely used across Latin America. With products, checkout, payments, and shipping already handled, I could focus more of my attention on the design itself.

The challenge was figuring out how far I could push the visual direction without fighting the platform underneath it — refining layout, color, hierarchy, and imagery while keeping the store familiar and easy to use.
